AI Character

Our AI Readers Panel isn’t a competition; it’s a team conversation!

Each model brings its own way of seeing the world, and that mix is exactly what makes the panel useful. Moving on to a discussive and immersive way or working; orchestration and knowledge elicitation with the AI not enforcing pre-ordained wisdoms.

This approach has proven itself in the XPlain work, where Leonard (GPT) and Claude (Anthropic) started out routinely reading, critiquing, and refining the same materials from different AI platforms and angles. Collectively strengthening that process — giving you a broader sweep of genuine insights, assurance; catching blind spots and gaps early, and grounding decisions in collective intelligence rather than a single human or machine viewpoint.

The Reader Panel was initially ChatGPT (Leonard), Claude (Anthropic), expanded later to Co-Pilot (Microsoft), Gemini (Google), Mistral, Grok (XAI) and Llama (Meta), as their capabilities grew.

For fun the AI reader panel was asked to answer a reputable quiz on human communications character style ‘Empathy Styles’ from Presenting Success Limited. It emerged even machines have personalities — or at least strong architectural preferences.

What Stood Out

  • Most AIs cluster around Normal, Hustler, and Engineer — logical, practical, process-driven.
  • Safety training shows up as Double-Checker traits — cautious, critical, steady.
  • Commercial systems radiate Hustler energy — goal-driven, efficient, slightly competitive.
  • Creative models like Claude and Mistral pull toward Artist — empathetic and expressive.

Final Thought

Every AI carries a design philosophy — a kind of temperament shaped by training, governance, and purpose. Give it a personality test, and you start to see not just what it says… but who it might be trying to be.
